Unless any of you can suggest another Windows 10 version to avoid Cortana, App Store, Edge, etc. If there will be possible limitations or issues, I may just switch to Windows 10 Pro as it appears Intel 10th generation processors are supported. If they are not able to be downloaded manually or if these updates will not be available until the next LTSC version, which will be until late 2021, what types of limitations or issues will I encounter if I continue to use Windows 10 LTSC without updating the PCI Device and the SM Bus Controller? Are these updates necessary, and if so, how can I manually download and install the appropriate ones for my laptop to work without causing any issues with Windows 10 LTSC?Ģ. Although, I am not really sure because Windows is running smoothly.ġ. I did read that Windows 10 LTSC only supports Intel processors up to 9th generation, so I am assuming this may be the problem why I am unable to download/install the files using the above-mentioned tools. I believe these are related to the chipset "INF" file, which must be updated manually, since Windows Updates, HP Assistant, or the Intel Chipset Utility are unable to do it. However, after updating the drivers using Windows Updates, I noticed that under device manager in other devices there are 2 yellow exclation marks. As far as I can tell, everything seems to work just fine. I recently installed Windows 10 LTSC (17763.316) on my HP laptop with an i5 1035G4 processor (10th generation).
